Folk of the air (02): The wicked king

The way Holly Black portrays Jude Duarte is so liberating. I hadn't read a book about such a badass before. She is complex, determined, funny and down to earth. I would have loved a wider range of perspectives (Cardan's or Madoc's maybe Taryn's aswell) And there are some plot twist so I understand some could get lost in the main idea. But the overall aesthetic is immaculate. I just recently got into reading again and this one got me out of my slump. It is dark, mysterious, magical and so full of lust (on Judes part). I am bingeing this series beacause it is such an easy read and the world Holly creating are worth escaping for. Its a 4 for me! Definitely reccomend!
