Her Lady’s Luck

This is a steamy historical romance short story (word count 5,503).

The Benson sisters find themselves on hard times, they are on the verge of being turned out on the street with the loss of their home and assets upon their father’s death.

Josephina as the older of the sisters has set herself the task of finding a solution to their grave problem; she is desperate to at least find a roof over her family’s heads so they can stay together.

But when her initial plan fails of getting her supposed sweetheart to aid her, she thinks all hope is lost.

However, she had not counted on a plan B...Mr Philip Donovan who seems more than willing to act as her saviour if she will agree that is to be his wife, and give him all the rights he is entitled to as her husband!
